Our Student Ministry serves students from 6th to 12th grade. Students meet at "The Shack" (Monterey Church building) every Wednesday night from 6:30pm-8:30pm to spend time with one another playing games, worshipping through music, and learning about God's Word through the Answers in Genesis Bible Curriculum.
The Answers in Genesis Bible curriculum is a four-year chronological study of the Bible that also provides practical ways for our students to apply the truths of God's Word to everyday life. It focuses on trusting in God's word, apologetics, the attributes of God, and the theme of Salvation, which is woven into each Scripture and lesson.
Throughout the year, our students also have opportunities to participate in fun, meaningful events such as the week-long Youth Camp, Missions trips, and camping in the Shenandoah Mountains.
